Two things:
(1) Katie and Bridget were making a puppet show booth for our living room, made out of a huge cardboard box. They covered the cardboard in blue construction paper to make a daytime sky, but when they couldn't find any black construction paper for a nighttime sky, Bridget admitted, "Yeah. But we do have a black pen!"
(2) Tonight I was trying to convince Bridget to come eat dinner at the kitchen table. She was pretending, like she often does these days, that she had a baby in her tummy. Seeing an opportunity, I told her that we had better hurry to the table and eat an extra big dinner, because that's how babies get nice and strong before they're born. She thought about it for a second, and said, "Wait, I'm just pretending."
